So far its all been a bit of a blur, not the so busy and things keep happening so fast that we can't keep up with it type of blur but rather more like a blur that moves at the speed of slow. Still we're using this time to work on and record new material. Cool. Keep safe, MRI.

MRI had a total blast taking to the stage in support of the mighty Dry Retch, the fantastical Rites of Hadda and the blazing Tio Rico. It was all organised by Horn and Hoof Records, a great night!

We had a fun time over at Birkenhead Cricket Club for the monthly Full Moon Club night. A great evening with a huge variety of bands and styles ranging from our shouty nonsense to slick jazz prog.

Ka^bandha - quirky/ funky jazzers
Glyn Thomas - acoustic singer songwriter.
Our mate Martin Ward performing in his solo acoustic guitared alter-ego of Steriledog who stepped in as a last minute replacement.

We happily made a lot of noise from the tiny stage in Smithdown Roads favourite Burrito bar. We were in the company of Northern Revelation giving us their oasis of loud songs, Leeds based Pat Butcher making more noise than even us with their hardcore punk/ska mix and also from Leeds Fat Spatula impressed us with their psych punk.

One of the strangest gigs we've had. First we heard nothing from the venue then when we finally got hold of them we learned the promoter had left and they had no idea what was going on!
We asked our mate (and one off bass player) Will from Hummer to play a solo set and then dragged more mates in the form of The Roxy Frogs along where we all had a great time playing on a great stage set up, boss lights, full really good Pa and sound engineer; to almost no-one. Boss.

We were due to play Warringtons Live Bar but unfortunately due to the venue shutting down earlier in the day it didn't go ahead. A shame as it was a really nice venue, well equipped, lovely sized room and great people running it.

A truly awesone night was had in the company of The Dry Retch, Spam Javelin and the truly awesome Blitzkrieg.
EVery band played a blinder and our yells and shouts were sometimes in tune (a bit). Awesome time.

We done a thing... Cheers to Adrian Wharton for the photos of us and the other bands/artists at Outpost Liverpool on Friday night. Great to play again after so long locked up. Great to see Spam Javelin and the The DRY RETCH again and to see Outpost newcomer Liv Fairclough.

Bio
MRI formed in Liverpool in 2017. We do lound horrible shouty music that gets peoples backs up straight away and then when the three vocals - all slightly out of tune with each other - hit home they usually try to go the bar. We normally lock the door to keep them in.
Not so much that if we moved in next door your lawn would die, more that Motorhead would move out.
Psychedelic Punk Metal, a lot fast and a lot loud and a real lot shouty.
